Representative Jonathan Jackson hosted a successful town hall on Monday, May 8th, 2023, engaging with constituents of IL-01. The event witnessed substantial participation with over 300 attendees, including alderpersons, local officials, community leaders, and community members. Rep. Jackson expressed his appreciation for the commitment and dedication his constituents showed to their community's improvement. He pledged to continue collaborating with them to confront the significant challenges they face.

Jackson proudly announced his request for a total of $21,615,000 in Community Project Funding for fiscal year 2024. The funding is intended to advance various initiatives within the district, contributing to areas like public safety, economic development, housing, public health, education, and public transportation.
