Right now, far too many of our neighbors are feeling the squeeze of a brutal cost-of-living crisis. Yet, in Washington, we are seeing relentless political attacks aimed at gutting the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Treating vital food assistance as a bargaining chip is reckless and heartless. Food is a fundamental human right, and I will not stand by while the safety net keeping our community fed is eroded.

We need to stand together, demand accountability, and protect these essential resources. That is why I am hosting a Food Security Town Hall this Friday, and I want to invite you to join the conversation and get the resources you or someone you love may need.
